Our goal at Optimum Choices is superior customer service. We Our, Katrina rescued, Cajun Cat & Mikki Dogalways put your holistic needs first (especially furry children). Our cat Iris eating her grassAs the world's largest independent e-tailer of the revolutionary holistic products, BioPreparation and ALPHA-G, our "wholistic" expertise and products are very much in demand. On some days we average 30% emergency orders. Some days, we literally only ship emergency overnight orders to save a life (see IMHA). Unfortunately, this extends the processing time of our regularly scheduled orders, so we apologize in advance. We know you would want this extra special attention if it were your child's or pet's life. We treat all pets as if they were a member of our family.

Internet-placed orders are processed first. Because of the high demand, manually placed telephone orders take much longer to process and are more prone to mistakes. Average time for Internet orders is: 1-2 days days for processing + 2-3 business days for Priority Mail = 5 total business days to receive your order. We cannot ship Seacure®, ALPHA-G or our EMF chips using Canada Post. Please select our special "Canada: ALPHA-G & Seacure" shipping zone when buying ALPHA-G or Seacure® to be shipped to Canada using a cheaper international rate.

Normal Shipping: We ship all orders (Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, including P.O. Boxes ) by U.S.P.S. mail which usually takes 2-3 business days for delivery (in the Continental U.S.). If you need faster service, choose the other shipping options below in our shopping cart.

Optimum Choices will assume liability for all orders under $500 for loss or damage. We will usually insure all orders over $500 and most large International orders, unless specifically requested not to do so by the customer (to save costs). The customer is then liable for all uninsured orders.		 $9.50 for first bottle/$1.50 each additional bottle. Some items and International orders higher.
Emergency U.S.P.S. Priority Mail Shipping Option: We will ship your order by U.S.P.S. Priority mail within the next business day, if possible (order must be received before 3:00 PM Mountain Time), after receipt of payment. If this is not possible, we will deduct the $7.00 surcharge. Delivery service is not guaranteed by the U.S.P.S. or Optimum Choices. Emergency Priority Mail Shipping: $16.50 for first bottle/$1.50 each additional bottle.
Emergency U.P.S. 2-Business Day Service Shipping Option: We will process your order within the next business day and ship your order by U.P.S. NEXT DAY AIR SAVER, if possible, after receipt of payment. Please understand we are NOT an emergency clinic and cannot guarantee delivery times. U.P.S. Next Day Air Saver does not ship to P.O. Boxes, or deliver Saturday, Sunday and holidays. Keep this in mind if you have a critical pet emergency. Emergency U.P.S. 2-business day Service Shipping: $55.00 for first bottle
Emergency Overnight Federal Express Shipping Option: ONLY available for true medical emergencies by special request (specify FedEx in our "Special order (mailing) instructions or Discounts" box) to accept the higher charges. If your order is processed and paid for by 2:00 PM Mountain Time, we will try to ship your order the same business day by Federal Express Standard Overnight (delivered by 3:00 PM the next business day). Federal Express First Overnight (by 9:00 AM), Federal Express Priority Overnight (by 10:30 AM) and Saturday Delivery options may also be available to some location if needed for an increased cost. Please understand we are NOT an emergency clinic and cannot guarantee delivery times. Keep this in mind if you have a critical pet emergency. Please specify which FedEx delivery service above you need in our "Special order (mailing) instructions or Discounts" box on the second page of our shopping cart, otherwise we will use Standard Overnight (by 3:00 PM) by the next business day.

Because FedEx shipments require a special trip, we may add a $25.00-50.00 Handling Fee surcharge onto the normal FedEx shipping rates to cover our extra time and cost. Canadian Orders"”whenever possible, BioSuperfood/BioPreparation (products only) Canadian orders will be shipped from our associate's office (BioAge, Inc) in Ontario, Canada. This avoids any Customs delays and saves the customer International postage. If you do not mind receiving beginning instructions and any other pertinent literature sent by e-mail, then select the Canadian shipping option. For all other product orders to Canada, please use International shipping charges below. Please allow extra delivery time. We cannot ship Seacure® or ALPHA-G using Canada Post. All other products sent by Priority Mail (6-10 days)"”$44.50 for the first bottle/jar (for example, Seacure or ALPHA-G) and $1.50 for each additional bottle/jar. We will routinely insure orders to some countries because of high losses (included in shipping charge) unless specifically requested not to do so by the customer (to save costs). The customer is then liable for all uninsured orders. In some areas, insurance is not available. In these cases, Optimum Choices will work to find an equitable solution or may choose not to ship at all, unless the customer assumes all risk.

We will gladly send International orders by First Class Mail (to save you money). We have found First Class Mail to be very unpredictable, unreliable, non-traceable and uninsurable. Therefore for First Class Mail, the recipient assumes all liability for lost or damaged packages. Select the International shipping option in our shopping cart (which will calculate the Priority Mail rate) but enter "First Class Mail" in the Special Instructions box on the second page of our shopping cart. Your e-mail order confirmation will still show the Priority Mail rate but we will adjust the shipping charges downward BEFORE your credit card is actually charged.		 $44.50 for first bottle/ $1.50 each additional bottle. Some items higher.
Shipping Rates "”We have compared U.P.S., Federal Express Ground, DHL and the U.S.P.S. and the U.S.P.S. (U.S. Postal Service) is the least expensive shipping method.

Insurance "” Suppose a customer ordered a BioSuperfood-f3 Starter Pack worth $367.65 and the package never showed up. But the USPS tracking database showed the postal carrier delivered the package (but to where?). Who is going to pay for that lost package? Do we make the customer pay another $367.65 for a second shipment? Hardly! Will the Post Office pay a claim if the package was not insured (insuring every package increases your Shipping & Handling charge)? Never! So, in order to provide good customer service, Optimum Choices must mail out a duplicate $367.65 order at no charge to the disappointed customer. Who pays for that cost? Like all businesses, we must factor those losses into our Shipping & Handling costs by adding $1-2.00 for self-insurance to the actual postage meter cost for every package so we spread out the loss over the total volume of orders.

Smaller bottles "” I ordered three 60-capsule bottles. My package only costs you $5.20 to mail. Why is your Shipping & Handling fee so much? There are three reasons.

a) Optimum Choices is the largest e-tailer in the world for both BioPreparation and ALPHA-G. Unfortunately, we do not have enough volume to hire a full-time shipping clerk ($10-15.00/hour) but too much volume for the owners to ship themselves. So we use the manufacturer's drop-ship, fulfillment house service in order to operate efficiently and keep your mail order prices low. That adds $2.00-4.00 per package to the actual postage for the total Shipping & Handling costs.

b) If you are on the East Coast, it may only cost us $5-7.00 to mail your package but to the West Coast it cost $7-11.00. Because our shopping cart is not sophisticated enough to charge by the location of your address we have one flat fee for all locations. Some closer to our shipper will pay less and those further away more.

c) While some 60-capsule bottles only weigh 2 oz. we have other product bottles that weigh 9 oz. per bottle. Since our shopping cart is not sophisticated enough to charge by the weight of each item we charge by the weight of the total number of items in the package. So while it only cost $5.20 for shipping three 2 oz. bottles, to cover the costs of three 9 oz. bottles we must charge enough Shipping & Handling to either coast or about $11-12.00 total Shipping & Handling for three bottles.
