One of our pet peeves is doggie daycare, recreational and kennel facilities that require "up to date" or "current" vaccinations, including bordetella, DHPP and canine influenza. By "up to date", they mean annual or even twice annually (in the case of bordetella). However, current research shows no scientific justification for annual vaccinations and over-vaccination can cause health problems in pets. We are thrilled to list the following facilities that do not require annual vaccines for dogs, as they are also aware of the potential problems of over-vaccinations.
