Too many people and pets today have adrenal gland and/or thyroid disorders. What people (and perhaps the Western medical community) do not realize is that if there is an adrenal gland imbalance, there most often is a thyroid dysfunction of some kind and vice versa. These two glands are so intimately related that in some instances, one cannot just medically treat one gland (as Western allopathic medicine does) and expect the other gland (and the entire endocrine system) to also be balanced. Furthermore, the adrenals and thyroid are secondary glands. They both are controlled and regulated by the primary glands and organ of the body, namely the pituitary (master gland), pineal and hypothalamus in the brain. So, by holistic deduction, if the adrenals and/or thyroid are not functioning properly, it is a good bet that this triad in the brain are also not in balance. The significance of this imbalance in the brain is seen, when one realizes that if any part of the endocrine (glandular) system is dysfunctional, this also impairs the immune system. With a deficient immune system, the body is subjected to seemingly unrelated diseases and chronic health problems.

Since the adrenals are a secondary gland, holistically we would first look at the primary glands that control the adrenals. These are the pineal, pituitary (master gland) and hypothalamus glands in the brain. There is an intricate balance and interdependency between the adrenals and thyroid gland and the brain (HPA axis = hypothalmaus-pituitary-adreanl). From our holistic perspectives, we feel to get to the source of any adrenal or thyroid problems, it only makes holistic sense to first make sure the glands in the brain are fully functioning. Unfortunately, there are no known drugs that can cross the blood/brain barrier to do this. But the brain receives nutritional ingredients across the blood/brain barrier every day to survive. These nutritional ingredients that can cross the blood/brain barrier can be found in whole food products.

"Bio-algae concentrates are an extremely efficient food that easily reaches the hypothalamic/pituitary cortex of the brain. The hypothalamus is the regulator of the endocrine system and its glands. In turn, the glands of the endocrine system and the hormones they secrete influence every cell, organ, and function of our bodies. As the body"s chemical messengers, these hormones transfer information and instructions from one set of cells to another." (Dr. Michael Kiriac from The Magic is BAC)

How did bio-algae concentrates do all this? Bio-algae concentrates simply supplied the body with nutrients of Vitamin A, B-complex, C, D, E and K, essential fatty acids of Omega 3, Omega 6, Omega 9, Gamma Linoleic Acid (GLA content is similar to early mother's milk), Alpha-Linolenic Acids (ALAs), Dihomogamma-Linolenic Acid (DGLA), Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and more fatty acids, over 4,000 enzymes, 10 essential amino acids plus 10 non-essential ones, all known trace minerals and elements, antioxidants, phytonutrients, polysaccharides and thousands of other nutrients so the body could resume normal healthy function. Bio-algae concentrates did not treat the symptoms but holistically balanced the whole body. When the endocrine and immune systems are holistically balanced, everything will work like it should. Bio-algae concentrates are so revolutionary they are 100 years ahead of their time. Now that is true holistic wellness!
